I - Me - Myself

It is hard to write about oneself, but this is an attempt to write one. I have completed my Engineering in Industrial Production and then Worked for couple of years to pursue M.Tech (Information Technology) from IIIT-Bangalore. It might look odd combination to do production engineering and then to pursue IT course, but there is a connect in the form of Operations Research, the fundamentals which are leveraged in Computer Science too. It is through this connect I pursued my Thesis 'Set Theoretic Relationships among Convex Polytopes and their Relation to Decision Support'. With the grace of the Prof. Prasanna and the Institute, two patents were awarded to the Supply Chain Management Project which I was part of and the thesis was part of the patented Supply Chain Project. I was also part of the Open System Lab (OSL) headed by Prof. Srinath where I was a contributor to Logic Fence: A framework for enforcing global integrity constraints a paper that was published in 'IDEAS 06' - by Shisbashis Guha, Prof Srinath et al. 

I have worked for MNC's  and start ups. I have designed and built scalable systems related to large scale data related Search Technologies, Crawling, Clustering, Classification , NLP etc. I have not only scaled technology but also people by mentoring and training juniors. I am now working for another start up ( third among fourth companies that I worked with) and I like the challenges that a start up faces.

I dabble mostly in Technology especially related to data viz. Information Retrieval, Data Mining, Text Mining , NLP etc.  If I am not working I would be dabbling with creative things through my camera and writing blogs. I am an avid reader too. I am keen to explore the world and on my wish list , I want to own a company and/or consulting, write books, teach students, travel the world esp. Europe, US, Ladakh, Kerala with my camera. I am also keen to leverage technology to the social cause and empower the differently abled and/or the under priviliged. Also, on my wish list is to see the olympics opening and closing ceremony, Grand Slam (Wimbledon or any other).

I am less expressive verbally and better through writing. So, I blog and express my thoughts.

I am now on my endeavour to try new things and look forward to collaborating in the above mentioned areas and also explore unknown territories that I have not  explored before.
